Introducing 'The UnRaptured Podcast': A Journey of Faith and Drama

Welcome to the inaugural issue of The UnRaptured Podcast Newsletter, where we take you behind the scenes of our ambitious new audio drama from Media By The People. This project is more than just a story — it's a mission to bring the narrative of the rapture to spaces it has never reached before.

Meet the Cast

In our first episode, we gathered the voices behind this project. W. Richard Johnson, a pastor and chaplain, shares his journey with us:

"Everything I do, I want to be to the glory of God, whether I'm working on an improv or anything else."

Vavaria Etheredge, from Woodbridge, Virginia, describes her spiritual connection with the team and the personal impact of this collaboration. She says, "Without them, I'm telling you my life just wouldn't be the same."

Eric Nolan, a believer and mentor, talks about his commitment to the project and his belief in its potential impact. "We have four believers on this project, and I have faith that God will honor that," he asserts, emphasizing the divine inspiration driving the team.

The Vision

Timothy, the creative force behind the project, outlines the grand vision for The UnRaptured Podcast. He aims to blend storytelling with technology, using AI to weave together a tapestry of scripts, poems, and songs he's been crafting for over 3 decades. "This is something that I know is an anointed project," he shares with conviction.

Cast Member Spotlight - Vavaria Etheredge

This venture is not just about a story — it's about community and collaboration. Timothy has set up a structured environment for the team to thrive, encouraging them to embrace their unique talents, gifts, and perspectives.

Each issue, we will feature another member of our super-talented cast. It is our pleasure to introduce you to Vavaria Etheredge.

Vavaria Etheredge is an actress, dancer, and voice-over performer who brings warmth, strength, and emotional honesty to the role of Mariam in The UnRaptured. Her screen credits include Caught Out There, Someplace in the Middle, and The Exceedingly Tall Tale and Account of Bad Man Brown, reflecting her growing body of work across independent film and visual storytelling.

With experience in both on-camera performance and voice acting, Vavaria approaches each character with creativity, authenticity, and a strong sense of purpose. She lends her voice to Mariam, a woman whose humanity, faith, and resilience are tested within the mysterious world of The UnRaptured.
